My son has been taking phenobarb for his seizures but it is making his ADHA worse. I would like to know if any one is taking clonipin.

Until my recent pregnancy, I had been taking clonipin for seizures for at least 5 years. I didn't have any severe side effects, and it worked well with my other seizure medications (carbatrol and neurontin) to cut down on the number of seizures I was having. In fact, I had been seizure-free for several months, although since I had to quit taking it I have had some tiny ones.

you guys mean KLONOPIN? aka clonozepam

i guess it all depends on the person, because I feel extremely dependent on klonopin
I take .5 2x a day
and tegretol.

I took Klonopin for about 2 years. I hated it!!! I was tired all the time, it affected my speech and my memory plus it was a bugger to wean off.

It is very addicting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The doctors at UCLA absolutley hate the drug. Please do not put your son on it if you do not have to.

My daughter takes clonapin, we give it to her when she starts to seize and it sometimes brings her out of it, or they are not as bad, We have had good luck with it. Yes there are side effects but, they all have them.

I've been taking Klonopin for about 4 years now. It is very addicting. If I miss one of those pills I have seizures even though I am on 2 other meds.
