I am having tarsal tunnel surgery in a couple of weeks and though the dr. explained everything to me i was wondering if anyone else had this surgery and if so what was your experience. I had no symptoms until injuring my ankle with a bad outward rollover sprain that caused tendonitis in the 2 tendons that go donw your leg and into your foot. now the dr. tells me it is really common in diabetics which i am. is it just coincidental that i had no symptoms until injuring ankle? it makes no sense that all of a sudden after the injury my diabetes brought on tarsal tunnel requiring surgery. any ideas?:confused:
