I have a lot of decalcified teeth, as evidenced by the white marks on them. Should've done a better job of cleaning in the past.
Now I'm using flouride rinse per my dentists instructions to keep them strong, but am confused about the amount of flouride in the different products and don't know what's best. I'm hoping someone here might be able to help.
In ACT flouride rinse, the flouride amount is "0.5%"
In regular AIM toothpaste, it's "0.24%". That's alot more than ACT.
Prescription PREVIDENT has "1.10%". That's a heck of alot, right?
In PHOS FLUR rinse, found at Walmart, the label says "4.4mg". That makes it difficult to compare. How many milligrams are in a percent? And the Phos Flur costs quite a bit more than ACT.
Bottom line of my question: How much flouride, either in % or milligrams, is the best amount?
