I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what society thinks about mental illness today.
I know there is less stigma than about 10 years ago, but to what point.
Say you're working somewhere and you have to take time off due to mental illness, what will co-workers think about that today ? Does anyone have had this experience and how did people react.
Any thoughts ?

I think people still view it as a weakness, a character flaw. Most employers are not thrilled with it as it is a loss of revenue and an added expense. I would imagine it would differ from employer to employer
