I actually got rid of it. Heres how I did it. Plain vinegar with normal table salt mixed into it. I mixed as much salt as would disolve into the vinager and then a little extra for good measure. Now I have sever circulation problems so it was much more difficult for me to cure then most normal people. Heres what I did. First I started eating a better diet. A cup of yogurt a day along with a multivitamin more fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, onions, garlic, and all of that stuff your supposed to eat anyway. I did this to help boost my immune system so my body could do its part. Then I got one of those warm/vibrating foot massager tubs that you put water in. For the first 3 weeks i soaked my feet in the tube with it on for 30min a day. Warning this is rough on your skin. Also i'm not a doctor but you can absorb things through your skin so if you have issues with salt this may not be a good idea for you. I tiped it forward so my whole foot was not exposed just my entire nail and cuticle. After 3 weeks i could tell that it was dead at my cuticle. So i stoped soaking and started applying it with a q-tip twice a day. Make sure you get it into the cuticle. I let them stay wet for about 15 to 20 min. The salt may turn your nails white but you can tell the difference between the white smooth nail and the yellow lumpy gross nail. And last and maybe most important you have to treat this like a seriously infectious contagious disease. Get new shoes often. Change and wash your socks everyday(shouldn't have to tell you that gross). Wash your shower with antibacterial soap shampoo your carpet. Make sure that all the contaminated surfaces are clean. It's just like dealing with lice.

Ok I got distracted by an im buddy the other day so i didn't mention this and probably should have. I tried everything else plain vinager, nail fungus stuff, athletes foot stuff, just about everything they mentioned on this site. It all helped but none of it cured me. The vinager kills the fungus by raising the acidity but as soon as it dries it basically becomes worthless. So as soon as you put your shoes on and start to sweat you reinfect yourself. That is what the salt is for. It also kills the fungus but It stays with you. You should have a film of salt crystals on your toe nail and in your cuticle. This will stop you from getting reinfected when your feet start to sweat in your shoes. It is more of a 24 hour protection then the other things. It also took over a year for my nails to fully grow out and become clean. Mine grow slower then healty people so you might not have to deal with it quite as long.

I'm still fungus free. I noticed no one replied to my post so was wondering if anyone else tried vinegar with salt in it.

I actually saved your write up so I wouldn't forget and plan on trying it. I've getting
the vinegar next shopping trip. But my only concern is that when I soak it and get
it wet it hurts and throbs like mad until its dry. I will just bite the bullet though to
get this stuff killed.

Can you give more information? How much vinegar and how much salt? How did you know "it was dead at the cuticle"?
I'm intrigued.
