I was wondering if anyone here has or knows someone with this ailment. I was diagnosed several years ago when I developed a pseudo-cyst accompanied by severe pain--hospitalized twice in one year--both my Primary Doctor and my Gastroenterologist have sent me to "Pain Management" Doctors--None of whom would take me as a patient--either they did not take my insurance or just did not want to deal with it. So, now my Primary prescribes the Duragesic Patch and the percocet for Breakthrough Pain--Have been happy with the patch except occasional times when it wont stay on (sweating, etc)--Have learned in here about the trouble tylenol in percocet can cause, so try not to use it often--but day 3 of patch, I need them--probably take 6 over the course of the third day---
(5/325)--is that too much Tylenol? All this was probably caused by intensive Cytoxan chemotherapy in May 2000 for a malignant course of Multiple Sclerosis (In hospital over a month)--But, as doctors tell me, the cause it not important--just have to deal with it now--Just recently changed insurance starting 1/1/07 (wife divorcing me and took me off her Medical plan)-new insurance is a Medicare Advantage PPO with prescription coverage--so that is my story--just curious if anyone in here is dealing with this ailment. Learned quite a bit in here and appreciate it all--Thanks
