Hey everyone, I've had to get my wisdom teeth out for a while, I can't afford it but I have an appointment to get it done under health insurance (I live in Canada, thank God)

Anyway, in the mean time can someone reccommend a good pill to take for the pain associated with wisdom teeth inflamation? I get a pain in my neck and a headache. I take acetaminophen but it's hit or miss, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Is naproxen sold OTC there? If so try Aleve - you can take up to 6 a day but 2-4 usually do it. Ibuprofen will reduce inflamation if the pain is due from that. If you are looking for prescription drugs, naproxen, diflusinal or Motrin (its stronger than the OTC version) works well.

I imagine it is inflammation, I've had to have them out for like 10 years now.
