I've never had a grand mal, but I think I've been having partials (& serious photosensitivity) for years & didn't know what they were...EEG is pending.

On Monday (or Tuesday? whatever), I was eating lunch in my mom's backyard. It was sunny & it seemed like sunlight was flickering & giving me a headache, so I went inside & took a nap. Next thing I know, I try to wake up, but my head is thrashing & I can't stop it, & then I'm out again...so I'm semi-conscious for maybe a second. But if this was the big one, why would I remember it? After that, I pretty much slept until my mom got home. Nobody was there to see it, so I have no idea what actually happened.

About the partials...I'm already on topamax & it seems to be working, but it makes me sleepy (but so do the partials). Is there any point in going through with the test & losing my license?

On second thought, maybe I just had a bad dream & can't remember the dream. I also have sleep apnea & didn't have my Darth Vader gear, so that could explain the sleepiness. So maybe it was just that...nothing to worry about.
