Hello everyone. Has anyone who have had Pulmunary Embolism's before, ever been told how long it takes for them to dissolve. I have just recently found out I have them and I am on Warfarin, but I never got the chance to speak to my own doctor and she is on vacation for the next couple of weeks. I was curious as to how long before they go away totally? Any replies will relieve my anxiety I am sure!:) Thanks in advance!

I had a P.E just before New Years. The doctor told me it varies when they dissolve if at all. Typically 6-8 weeks, he told me.
