Hi ..... I have heard that Frisium/Clobazam when taken
with Dilantin , makes Dilantin stronger .
Is this true & can somebody please tell me how it
work's .
Also does anybody know of any anti epileptic medication that will do a similar job as Dilantin - or
Dilantin & Frisium/Clobazam combined .
As I am in Canada certain medication's are not as yet
approved by the government - so unluckily I cannot
use them ( at least not yet ) , but all suggestion's
are VERY welcome .

Thank's BAHAMAS

Hi, I have been on Epilim, Lamicatal and Rivitril all together and they didn't work. What works for me now is Frisium and Rivitril. I've never taken Dilantin as dh won't let me so I can't hlep you there. He used to work for the Epilepsy Assoc. of Australia so he knows moe about these meds than most drs and he works out my med combos and makes changes when necessary and our dr approves. Anyway, sorry if that doesn't help much.

As I have had reactions to dilantin and tegretol, I am now on depakote without any real problems. I do have a slight right hand shake/tremor at times when holding something. Only side effects of depakote I have read about are weight gain and arm/hand shakes. I have eaten almost nonstop since I started taking it!
