The past week or so I noticed that when I touch down on a spot on the top of my head that spot and around 1 inch to the right is sore and tender almost bruise like. I have also noticed head aches in this spot or really quick dull pains as well although nothing to bad it is just odd to me. Could this be the sign of anything serious like a tumor or am I just being a hypcondriac

also i forgot to note I have not hit my head recently

It could be something, but what I am not sure. It could be that something happened that you are not aware of. Best way to try and be sure is by going to your primary doctor with your concerns. He could perform some simple neurological tests by checking your balance, strength, reflexes; as well as order something like an MRI of the head so that you can have some insight as to whether this is something from your brain or not.
