Does anyone feel like your seizures are 10 times worse when you are about to have a seizure in front of someone? The first thing I think is "Oh God, not now! This person is going to notice! I need to find an excuse to get of of here." I think this is making my complex partials worse, because when I am home alone, I don't have to feel self conscious and the seizure is either thwarted or lasts only seconds. If I can get myself to remain calm, I can have a seizure right in front of someone and they won't even know it. Other times, it is obvious that I have a problem. It just varies. Are some seizures worse than others or are the severity of them controlled by our reactions to them? HELP!!

I have to agree with you. I start to panick when I'm alone and with a bunch of people I don't really know. When I'm at home I'm relaxed and don't worry about it. I wish there was some way to help you, but I haven't figured it out for myself yet. Goodluck. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
