I have some weird symptoms in my feet, and I'm not sure what is going on. It started about a month ago after some heavy-duty weight lifting (leg presses, etc.).

I have tenderness in the morning (pretty much the entire foot) which progresses to heel pain at night, especially if I sit around for most of the day. Ice and massage seems to help, but it aint' going away. I also have tightness in the calves and mini-cramps here and there in my lower legs.

is this stuff consistent with heel spurs/planter fasciitis? What should I do?

Sounds like some PF symptoms to me, don't fool around and get it checked out. I have had it for about a year now and it is in both feet. Orthodics help, as well as simple stretches and icing is good too.
