Hi, everyone...
This looks like a really nice board!
Of course, I didn't think I'd need it...'til last Wednesday. Anyone else had a 29-year break from seizures, only to have them return ultra-unexpectedly? I could not have been more surprised. Well, I suppose I could have been. I could have been my roommate. SHE was certainly surprised. Poor thing.
So.
Back on Dilantin and Tri-something or other...and no driving for six months. Nice. Just what I wanted. I really can't believe it. Seriously. Any advice for how to deal with this whole thing as an adult? Last time I had a seizure I was 6. Now...it's completely throwing off my sense of independence and control. Can't help it.
We are going to a support group on this coming Thursday...I hope that makes us both feel a little better. Right now, I have to say I feel guilty as H for having to be carted everywhere, and I bet my roommate feels persistently freaked out by the whole seizure experience. :|
Thanks for having such a board...it really helps to be able to ask similarly-situated people for their thoughts...(especially since I'm a big geek anyway).
