no seizures- knock on wood since i started taking depakote!!!! hurray, its a wonderful feeling, yes i was very tired for 3 weeks getting on it, but the tiredness is better now. i just keep thinking positive thoughts. because all i want to do is to get better. I am going to be well, . I requested my medical records and will get them today, I never felt i got good doctor care so i want to puzzel thru all the paper work/ Menegities does cause seizurers.

I am so happy to hear that you haven't had a seizure in that long. I hope that this continues. How many would you have? I am glad for the meds. FINALLY we hear about a med that works instead of one that makes us insane!

it has been 4 weeks today!!!! not having a grand mal seizure!! the relief of gaining some confidence back that u are not going to go in public and have a seizure!!! depakote makes me very tired but i am not going to let it beat me. i will just drink lots of coffee, lol/ tegretal helped my seizures but I would still have at least 3 grandmals a month. That was 3 too many in my opinion. also i dont think people relize that well at least in my case, that u just dont have seizures when u have seizures, u have headaches from them- horrible, and lack of energy. so then u are more proned to having seizures because your body is so worn down, its like a vicious cycle!! but hurrayyyy 4 weeks, isnt that wonderful!!!
