Not sure if I did some damage to myself...will apologize in advance for being blunt...

A friend was in visiting overnight for the Holidays...only problem is I only have ONE Bathroom...

I go every morning after breakfast like clockwork...No different this morning...only problem is my guest was in the shower...

I held back my "bowel movement" for about 15 minutes...I was actually in pain...thought I was going to explode...

I was finally able to get in the bathroom...and man did I take a dump (sorry for being blunt)...only problem was, when I "wiped" myself" there appeared to be some blood (looked mucousy) but blood on the toilet paper...

I have never had anything like this happen to me...I have been monitoring myself all day, and have not seen any more blood.

Is it possible I hurt myself somehow by holding my "BM" back for so long...should I be concerned...is something seriously wrong?

Please help...

It sound like blood from a hemorrhoid but I believe all rectal bleeding should be checked out just to be sure that there is nothing serious!!
