I didn't even ask my RE on Sunday what the beta level was so she told me today.

12/24 (15dpiui) = 481
12/27 (18dpiui) = 10533 (she said it twice!)

I guess I am a bit shocked at how high today's is...she said it should be doubling and that is what it did!
I go in Jan 9 for a pregnancy scan...guess I will know more then.

Those are awesome numbers -- congrats! I know what a relief it is to get over that hurdle. My first beta was 914 and my last one, taken Friday, was 4,529. I go in tomorrow for my first ultrasound -- and we'll see exactly what's going on in there. I wish you the best -- take care of yourself and your little bean and please let us know how your first scan goes ...

Thanks everyone! I am so relieved that my beta's are looking good! I will admit that the second one being SO high has me wondering a bit...but I will just have to wait and see.

Hi Ladies --
Had my U/S this morning. The RE told me that we might not see the heartbeat bc it's still pretty early (5 wks and 4 days) -- But guess what? We did! I was pretty relieved -- and RE said that seeing it this early is a good sign. So we'll see. Oh yes -- and there's one bean in there. DH and I are thrilled!

Des -- I'm looking forward to hearing about what you see during your first scan!
