Is there anyone out there that can tell me where to find pull ups for my daughter. She is 10 and not fully potty trained. She is scared to do the #2 in the toliet and sometimes she have accidents in urinating. I presently use the largest of the goodnites since they are the biggest of pull up type diapers but she is getting a little too big for them and they are kind of tight. I want her to be able to pull them down with ease so she will be able to do it herself but with these she need help. I have tried the adult depends in small and they are a little too big. If you know where I can get some that are between these sizes it would be a big help. Thanks:angel:

In my job I have some involvement with billing diapers for individuals with disabilities of all ages. Once the largest Good-Nights become too small we next go to the smallest adult diaper. If the smallest Depends are running a bit too big, maybe try looking for a store brand and try a few of those? Maybe you might find one that runs a bit smaller.
Good Luck!

We get something from a local medical supply store which are called "Sleep pants" and are sized for older children. You may also be able to get a pharmicy to order them if you can get through to them what you need. There put out by Curity... Hopefully it's ok for me to mention the brand name. :)

Thank you so much. Any little bit of help is a blessing. Hopefully I won't need them too long. Any suggestions for potty training for #2. My daughter seem to be scared to do it in the toilet. She used to until she had constipation and I guess it hurt and she associate the toliet with pain when doing #2. She will urinate fine but won't do the other until you pull her pants up.

I also have a 10 yr old that wears diapers at night we are using the depends and medicaid pays for them. Our fmaily doctor writes us perscriptions and we go to the pharmacy 1 time a month for like 4 packs....... Good Luck~!

#2 is a difficult one! our son is potty trained but wears the pull ups to bed. he still has accidents from time to time... especially if he is holding in a bowel movement. i have no idea how to break that one!! and i knows its not useful for me to type but i thought i would throw my own two cents in on the the "pile" of compliants about bowel training trouble with our ASD kids! :) my son also has trouble with going #2 for ANYONE BUT ME. he will hold it all day at school and have tantrums because he is pain but wont generally go for them at school. then ofcourse it ends up constipating him and he generally soils. all we know to do is if he is showing signs of a need to have a bowel movement is to take him toilet much more frequently and then have a potty party when he goes:) we lay on the verbal praise real thick when he does go and he does show signs of being proud when we get all excited. not really helpful i know but that a tough one that generally has no real good universal anwser to cover. but if you come across some good hints and tricks please do pass them round:)

Good Luck!

Liz
