Hi. I'm wondering if anybody knows,
Does walking have anything to do with getting hemerroids. For example, mountain climbing or walking long-distance: does that cause hemerroids? because that's when I think I first got them.
Also, how can you get rid of them forever?
I have tended to spend too long on the toilet, which, yes, is a bad idea!
Are there a couple of key knock-out things, like short bowel movement + lots of fiber, that get rid of them?
Thanks

Who knows? Troll through the internet for suspected causes although I suspect reading for prolonged lengths on the toilet and heavy lifting did for me. I always thought I eat healthily also with a load of veg. and fruit but I now take metamucil daily as a suppliment.
I don't know how bad yours are if you suffer from them but get any bowel problem checked out. Surgery is a nightmare and early intervention preferable.
When you find how to rid them forever - I'll buy in halves with you!

( Not one for smileys but the surgery went very well so )
