Can you take a look at my chart and tell me what you think. I have had terrible O cramps the past 3 days today being the worst and I've had a headache the past 2 days with breast tenderness and even a little gassiness and nausea. My temp dipped 3 days ago but hasn't really gone back up. Yesterday I had a follicle that was 23 mm and they said I was getting ready to ovulate. Do you think I already have or do you think I'm still about to. My temp is confusing me. Oh, I've had EWCM the past 3 days too.
thanks
nevermind I can't post the link...sorry....My temp just dipped way down 3 days ago and has only gone up .4 degrees the past 3 days so I'm confused

as long as it is going up you should be ok. I had a huge temp dip and than it took a couple of days to go up. I think with most charting you have to have 3 consecutive days of a temp rise to confirm ovulation. If you have had 3 rising temps since your dip. Chances are is that you ovulated!!!! Good luck , I hope you did!!!!

Also most pharmacies like Walgreens, Snyders, and CVS also have BBT thermometers.

Ok so I bought a thermometer tonight at Walmart. I have a couple questions though.
I know they say to take your temp first thing in the morning, before you get out of bed. I'm a pretty restless sleeper- I usually wake up a few times a night. Usually one of those times I get out of bed. Should I take my temp the first time I wake up or just when I get out of bed? Also, will being a restless sleeper affect this? Does a severe dip in temp indicate ovulation?
Thanks,
Sara

You need to take it after having atleast 3 hours of sleep. It's important to take it the same time every morning so figure out when would be the best time for you. As long as you have slept for 3 hours it shouldn't matter too much. It will take a few cycles to get used to it. Not everyone has an ovulation dip, but if you have a dramatic dip around ovulation time and are having some symptoms of ovulating, that's a pretty good sign you are about to ovulate. Check out some of the websites for charting BBT's they are very helpful. Good Luck.....my temp only went up to 97.1 this morning so the website says ovulation hasn't been detected yet but I'm almost 100% positive I ovulated yesterday. Now I just hope my temp goes up!!

Well it depends on what dpo I am:) According to my chart I am 9, but I think it's more like 11. We just BDed as much as we could! If you go by my chart we BDed the day of O, the day before, and 3 days before, but not the day after. Also, I did a headstand after each time we BDed! It must of worked! LOL!
