View Full Version : Pale Skin

I like my pale skin, but I'd like to know how to naturally enhance its appearance and get that rosy, radiant, glowy look (without make up). It's just a little lifeless lately. Or at least looks that way in pics.

Does anyone know of tips or products (my skin is dry)?

Thanks

Look for those 'face illuminators' in wal-mart or a drug store. it should be in the makeup.

Maybe change your moisturizer? If you have dry skin you may want to look into one of those skin brightening moisturizers, they really do help make the skin more glowing.

If you don't want to use a makeup product (there are a LOT that can help with this), I would suggest one of those gradual tanning lotions or a shimmery lotion. I guess it depends if you want to have a tan or just illuminate your skin. I know Nivea makes one of the shimmery ones. They can be pretty without actually darkening your skin.. great for any skin tone! I don't know if they make them for the face.. you may need a makeup shimmery powder for that. You could also use a gentle exfoliating scrub to scrub off any dulling dead skin cells. I find when I use one meant for my face, it really makes my skin look better.

Are you using a scrub and mask weekly? That is one of the easiest and cheapest way to brighten skin because it exfoliates those dull layers right off. You could always go get a facial as an extra boost, especially if you haven't been exfoliating. Try the asprin/aloe mask. Take about 5 uncoated asprin and cover them in aloe gel, let them sit until they break up easily and mix them up together. First use it as a scrub and then let it sit like a mask until it dries, after that, wash it off. Underneath, you'll find beautiful, soft and glowing skin.

I like to pinch my cheeks and bite my lips to make them rosy.
