Hope that's the right board.
I am planning on straightening some of my teeth and enhancing my smile - I want something quicker that bracelets (maybe contouring and reshaping, I don't know).
I called a well-respected dentist in the area who specializes in cosmetic dentistry - and he wanted me to show up for a consultation and an X-Ray so that he can access the situation. The price for this is $160. Isn't that a TAD too much?
Anyone has any experience with this?
Thanks,

Nope, for a full mouth X-ray, that seems right.

I still have my wisodm teeth - see no need to extract them. Do u think they would make me have the procedure done to enhance the results of whatever procedures they need necessary.
Also, if I have the X-Rays done, can I use the film with another dentist?
Thanks

If your teeth are crowded, they might recommend that you have the wisdom teeth extracted to make room for all your other teeth to kind of spread out and settle a little before they do anything else.
Yes, once you pay for the X-rays, they're yours, and you can use them with any other dentist.

I had a dentist charge me $400. Needless to say, I haven't had the work done - yet.

Search for dental insurance. It's not that much and will save you a lot. A lot of employers don't offer this; my old boss didnt' so I searched online for the best. I don't remember what it was but it helped me out quite a bit.
