Me and DH are TTC #1 and have been for 15 months. My husband had a prev marriage and was givin Chlamydia (gee thanks) well unknowingly gave it to me. Last year I was advised i had chlamydia (probably had it for less than a year) ... Well i get treated and Dh does. were free of it now... well this year I started having cysts keep rupturing on my right side. I had the same pain this cycle and I went to the ER today (7dpo) and of course they couldnt tell if i was pregnant or not. But they did find a hydrosalpinx. So my nosey self googles this since my OBGYN/RE office was closed. AND OMG! Im never gonna be able to have kids ya'll! :( Im sooooo sad this is painstaking news. I know plenty of people are reading this saying "im glad its her and not me" well i used to do the same thing but it IS me!!!!! The websites talk about IVF being the only hope but we cant do IVF wayyyyyyy too much money. HELP anyone know any good success stories or advice. Please help Im young and scared!

Thanks

I would take a deep breath and call your RE on their emergency # to speak with your dr., they should know that you are having pains severe enough to go to the ER. I have always found that ERs are the worst places to diagnose anything other than a decapitated head or a missing limb. I have very little faith in them diagnosing anything because they are trauma specialists, trauma is what they are desinged to handle, not IF. I wouldn't let it ruin the weekend until my dr told me this was the case.

I looked this up and it looks as though it's treatable (neosalpingostomy) and yes, it does also mention IVF. I hope to God that this is not the case for you though. Keep us updated.
