I just had a baby about a month ago and while i was pregnant i had really bad pain in both of my hands especially at night. Now it seems it has gotten worse not only do i have pain at night, now I have pains with my wrist it seems at times when i do stuff they pop out of place then it pops back which is really painful. I dont know whats wrong.

Not quite sure that's carpal tunnel, but they told me when I had my kids 23 and 20 years ago that being pregnant means you up your chances of having carpal tunnel. For me it started gradually. First I had pain in the back of my hand on the thumb side. Then It hurt all along the back of my arm up to my elbow, once again following the thumb side. Then the inside of my elbow all on the side nearest my side hurt. I started dropping things (a sure sign of cts) without even trying. I'd drop one thing per day sometimes more than one. The worst was when I was taken off of Naporsyn to prepare for cts surgery. I would hold my arm straight up in the air and within 3 seconds I was in pain in my fingers. I dropped a pitcher of iced tea (lucky it had a lid on it and didn't make too much of a mess). Please don't wait as long as I did. Go get tested. The test they give you is like this. They put those sticky tabs on your arms in different places. The tabs have wires attached to them that are hooked up to a machine. I was afraid this would hurt. It didn't, but I'd see my fingers fly up without telling them to. Then he took accupuncture like needles and tried them in different parts of my arms and hands. Most didn't hurt hardly at all except the back of my arm. That one hurt. When he inserted the needle in the back of my hand I felt.......nothing. Not one thing.
