That's an interesting question. I don't know the answer, but I don't think you'd do a workout for that. I think you have to fatten it up. But I'm not sure, though. Sorry I can't be more help.

Try using the stair master at a high resistance level. One trainer told me to not use the stair master for TOO long unless I wanted my butt to get big! heheh :) It won't make it big as in fat, but bigger as in muscular. Needless to say, I quit using it fast!!! :) LOL :)

I don't know about bigger but more shapely and rounder is poss. Stairstepper, stairmaster, calf raises, ballet for sure. Walking does help firm up mine, too.

Doing squats will definitely plump it out more and make it more rounded. Also, walking on a treadmill on an incline helps.

How about the lots-of-cheesecake-and-french-fries workout? That always worked for me. :)

For real though, I understand your question. I think flat, muscular butts are very unnattractive. I have a nice round one myself but I'd like to know how I could make it more voluptuous too. My first thought is that general gaining weight would help.

Would an eliptical machine help "plump"? Maybe on high resistance?

Squats and jumping rope. If you're just starting with the squats, do them with no weight, then add like 5 lb. weights and go from there.

There are always squats, but I learned a good exercise in my dance class that seems to round out the butt and lift it.. it doesn't make it BIGGER, but makes it shaped nicer and gets that round look that looks great in jeans. You need to get on all 4's on your hands and knees first. Then keep your arms straight, and lift one leg straight up.. lift and lower.. about 15-20 reps is fine to start with and even works for me now after doing it for a while. Then switch sides. You should be able to feel the little burn as you are doing it.. and then you know you are doing it correctly! Hope this helps and hope it makes sense!

I heard an interview on the radio one day with J Lo and she was talking about her squats routine and that's what it took to get her booty!

When I was younger the girls were always looking for a way to make our butts smaller. How times change! :D

Mine is flat. Don't like mine either. Lying on the bench doing leg curls helps. I can't remember the name of the machine, but it's supposed to work quickly, showing a more defined butt within 12 weeks.

I think whether small or big, toned is the main thing. You know, lots of girls have smaller, flatter butts, wear skin-tight jeans and they look great. This idea that we all have to aspire to have ours look like Jlo is a fad. Make a fad something we can all do if we want and it's fun, but something impossible and it just becomes stressful.

Women have to learn to love what they have and make it the best and loveliest it can be instead of wishing for what we don't have and being mean to ourselves if we can't achieve it.

Why do you think men now point out and chide us about cellulite? Do we honestly think they knew (or cared) what the hell this was before women made such a big deal of it? Well, they do now.

Okay, rant over!;)

Heh, I'm having the same issue as you...I would LOVE to have a bigger butt! It's a big source of annoyance for me. I agree with doing weighted squats.....that seems to be the best exercise to help. Also eat a high protein diet. I'm trying to get my butt bigger as well, so lots of luck to the both of us! :D

didn't read all the replies so I might be repeating, but squats with heavier weight and less reps will help as will the already mentioned stair master. None of it will make you have a big butt since you aren't destined to have one, but they will help add muscle and firm it up which will overall just make it look better. Only way to make it bigger would be to eat more...but it won't all go to your butt, it'll go to all the places you don't want it to go first. So...keep eating healthy, exercise and just add more squats, lunges, stairclimbing and sprints

I agree totally. It is the shape, not the size, that makes a butt cute. Some large butts are flat and some small butts are high and perky! But the elyptical machine on a high resistance is a really good way to achieve the high, perky butt.

I knew this exercise at a VERY young age. My behind is a little too wide, well I'll go measure, 36", 28", 38" . I lost 20+ since May, and my butt is flat. I don't obsess over it but I want a plump butt which takes alot of work. Also inner thighs take alot of work and calves are hard to get bigger which I want.

My ex and I hadn't seen each other until this December and he noted my weight loss(and I did put on some nice clothes that would accentue my figure) and he said ", well, now all you need is a "little" girdle " and toning up.

Coming from a man with a big belly, skniny calves, and grades women on hair, nails, body, etc. After we parted my self esteem was at it's lowest. He's been calling since I saw him over New Year's. I wouldn't go truough that mess again!:blob_fire

Ranting.. sorry. I've been on some training sites that say don't exercise everday, but I think that's just for bodybulders who work their butts off!!!!

I had a book from the library about at home excercises to plump, round, firm your butt. If I find it again.will let you know. Stairmaster, walking uphill ,lunges with or without weights depending. kj

playing tennis helped me get a perky round butt. Before playing tennis, my butt was skinny & flat.
