I have 32 day cycles which means I should ovulate around day 18. The past few month I have been paying close attention to my cm. I have noticed an interesting pattern. About a week before ovulation I get a lot of cm that is clear and stretchy (sometimes pink tinged) and that lasts for 3 days and then it goes away. By the time ovulation comes around I don't really have any cm and I am pretty much dry. I am confused. Maybe that is why I haven't gotten pregnant so easily?

My guess is maybe you ovulate sooner than you think. Do you chart BBT? Have you ever tested to find out when you ovulate?

OMG the same thing happens to me. I have a regular 28 day cycle so usually on about day 8 I get a lot of the ewcm.......but....mine only lasts ONE day! So by the time day 10-14 comes around, I'm a dry as a rock! Maybe this is why I am in my 5th month of trying. The swimmers have nothing to live in....they die in like 2 hours!! :mad:
So do we ovulate earlyier than we think??? Or are we just so dry when the big O comes around??
I have been using Preseed during all my dry days.
Let me know if you find anything out because I have the exact some issue!!!

krzyrrl- Everytime I have used opks (which haven't been every month) I ovulate exactly two weeks before I get my period. So it wouldn't even make sense for me to ovulate on day 8 or around there and get my period on day 32. The past couple months I noticed cm lasted maybe 2 days if that but this month it has lasted about 3 and now it is pretty much over and I am only on day 12 of my cycle. I have been trying the same amount of months as you! We will definately have to exchange information on this if we can figure out what is going on!

I would really recommend charting to find out when you are ovulating. It's really easy. It sounds like you are O'ing earlier than you thought!

besafe....I am doing the temperature charting thing. I am on cycle day 12 or 13..(I need to go check, I forget) and my temp has not gone up yet...so that means I havn'et O'ed yet. but I did have all that ewcm on day 8....so strange...Hmmmm and it only lasts one day.

Besafe are you charting?? Maybe we just have cm BEFORE we O. We could just be totally regular and O two weeks before our next AF. YOu are on cd 13 now right?? About the same as me! Ok, so we are in the same boat here! If you learn anything let me know :-)
DH and I are still bd'ing. We we bd on that ewcm day 8 and 9 and 10. Now we will bd again on 12, 13, 14 and maybe 15. I"ve got it all planned out:jester:
Confrusterated...I thought I did O sooner, but through doing BBT, it has'nt rised yet. I am in the 98's after O and before O I am in the 97.1 - 97.7. So right now...day 13 I am still in the 97's
Oh my gosh....this baby making stuff is like I should be going to the a college and taking a class or something :p

We started to BD on day 12 and today day 14. I am going to do every other day up to day 20. I didn't feel like going and wasting money on opks. I am too lazy to chart my temps. Everyone asks me that every time I come on here! It probably isn't hard but it seems like it would be a bit much for me right now.

Did you ever figure out when you O'ed?? I am now on cd 16 and still have gotten negatives from the OPK. I"m just going to stop using them. I"m still charting my temps, but just going to stop using the O strips.
