What's the name of the heavy sedative used on so-called disturbed people in UK mental hospitals? Have been realiably informed it's "Accuphase", or "Accufaze", I need the correct spelling to look it up on the web. Either trade name or generic name or both please. Thanks very much.

I took a chance and typed in Acuphase rather than Accuphase and seems I got something called Clopixal. It's a neuroleptic, which is usually a major tranquilizer. They can be bad news for the nervous system over time and other adverse effects to liver, kidneys and blood sugar levels.
