View Full Version : Big Mystery This Month

I was out of town for 11 days (for the holidays) and my doctor said that it was ok for me to take the Clomid even though I'd miss both my baseline & my CD10-12 ultrasound. I asked them a few times if they were sure that was ok, and they said a definite yes, so I said ok.

So this month, eventhough I'm on my second month of Clomid, I have no idea how many follies, how big, or how few there are in there. I just had my LH surge yesterday, and I could feel mild cramping on the left & right sides last night, so I'm thinking that I have at least one on each side - but who knows!!?? I kind of like not knowing, it makes me think maybe there are 5 or 6 in there and maybe I'll end up with twins? Has anyone else been on clomid and NOT had u/s to see how it performed in your body that month?

Anyway, they said I did really well on the 50mg of clomid last month, progesterone was great, etc, so I am on it again, maybe this month will be my New Years resolution come true.

When I was on clomid I was only seeing a OB/GYN and she did not do any monitoring at all. I took the clomid and then went in on the 21st day of my cycle to have my progesterone tested. That is it! I did get pregnant on the second cycle with 50mg with one baby, but had a m/c. So, I wish you lots of luck and I would just get to baby dancing;) Let us know how it goes!

I haven't had unmonitored clomid cycles, either, but wanted to wish you luck! I thought you could use extra support! That is why we are here! Sounds promising if you are having some cramping-I bet you do have follies. Good luck sweetie! Please keep us posted!

I started out the same way as cmarie unmonitored but BFNs. I hope that this is different for you. Baby dust to you. :)

Thank you all for your support and positive baby wishes! I am feeling optimistic, will definitely keep you posted. This could be a long 2ww, but I'm going to try and just focus on work to make the time pass quickly. Sending positive baby dust and good vibes to each of you out there.
