Light brown or taupe for daytime.

i'm a blue eyed blonde, and i use black. but not just a plain black eyeliner. i use a matte black eyeshadow, and apply it with an angled eyeliner brush. then i smudge it a little bit with a pointed q-tip. it lines my eyes very softly without being like WOW BLACK EYELINER! its very subtle.

if i want a more dramatic look, i wet the brush before dipping it in the eyeshadow.

THanks for your replies. I have tried all of these suggestions except the cranberry (which I will try soon!). The taupe is too pale for adding emphaisis. My skin is almost as dark it seems. And black - I just have issues with black eyeliner! LOL! :)

Maybe you could try a dark brown.
