Hi I performed unprotected sex on a male of unknown status 6 months ago...and I didn't let him *** but I'm not sure about pre-***...for a month now I've had a chronic productive cough because of post nasal drip and I'm always bringing up white or yellow mucus and finally beginning to get a sore throat I've always had allergies in the past not really in the winter though...does anyone think these are HIV symptoms or do you think I should be tested...any feedback or advice would be appreciated thanks guys! :)

Obviously, as Chris said, if you're worried get tested for your own sanity but I just thought I'd let you know that for 3 weeks I've had post nasal drip too and a cough to bring it up and I suffer allergies as well. Oh, and I'm from Ontario too! Weather is very weird this year, my tulips started popping up so yes you could most definitely have allergies now. It's 10 degrees today in Ottawa in January! That;s like oct/nov weather. Total allergies, mold is coming from the grass...etc...I don't have colour to the mucous though and no sore throat so you may have an infection, see your doc but I wouldn't worry too much about your exposure.
