does this sound like ibs

have had it since i was about 16, i deficate alot every day over 5 times, usually and it never feels like i have emptied my bowels. and in stressful situations it is worse.
the stools are never consistnet either, pellets, mucus, diarreah and constapation

then once every couple of weeks it is really bad and i may need to go to the toilet 5/6 times b4 leaving the house in the morning and find myself in huge disscomfort almost imediatly if i try to ignore it.

this really makes planning my life difficult. does this sound like ibs

It sounds exactly like my own symptoms, and I have IBS-d with lots of pain and bloating throughout the day, no matter how often I go to the bathroom. You may want to see a doctor and make sure nothing else is wrong, and then try medications or changing your diet. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help to you, but I do sympathize with you!
