My husband is usually around me when I have had grand mal seizures. They usually happen during my sleep. I realize that I have had one when I wake up to my tongue being sore and body aching. For example when I think I am "waking up" in the morning at say 9:30, my husband tells me that I have been up for a few hours and that I have been alert and talking to him. But I don't remember any of this. Does any one else go through this after having a seizure and is this normal?
