When I wake up in the morning and especially this morning, I felt very anxious and weird. I took my blood pressure which was elevated. I didn't like the reading so therefore I took it again and the numbers were a bit lower. And then I took it again, and the numbers lowered a bit again. Why does this happen. Which numbers should I consider relatively correct numbers. I'd like to consider the lowest one but in actuality, is it the very first reading that is more accurate? So confused. Thanks for your responses.

For many, if not MOST people, the highest blood pressure readings are the ones taken first thing on awakening.
