Hi, Question for anyone that has been pregnant and has epilepsy - do you have more seizures when u r pregnant? And if so do you notice that it's more say in the first few months that you r pregnant?

hi i have had 3 children the ages are 4(5 in nov.)3,and 1 i never took my meds while pregnant with any of them and i never had seizures while pregnant however this is not something i would recomend for anyone this was my own persoanal choice and i know that my seizures are hormone related meaning i only have seizures while having my period and i dont have seizures while pregnant like i said before this is not somethign i recomend for anyone and this was my own personal decission just remember if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant make sure to take EXTRA FOLIC ACID what is in prenantal vitamins or regular multi vitamins is not enough we need more this is very important exspecially if you are taking any type of aed.
