I can't remember if i took my benicar this morning or not. Its my only daily med so i don't have a pill daily container. I just take it out of the bottle. I rushed to work and i don't remember if i took one or not. I for sure don't want to take and extra dose because it makes me dizzy( i know that cuz at first they had me on double the dose and it make me feel awfull). Anyway if i didn't take it and don't take one till mornin will my bp stay low and not suddenly spike way up? Right now its 123/76. I have been taking it everyday for 2 years so its well in my system.

I have been on Co-tenidone for many years, and have also been in the same situation as yourself......many times. (I'm not loosing my memory! Sorry, what was I saying....Oh yes) If your not sure whether you did or not, then leave well alone until tomorrow morning. One day's miss will hardly have any effect at all.
I have often taken mine every other day, no problemo!

Thanks alot man. I just wanted to check. Even at its worst my BP isn't off the charts high but i dang sure don't want a double dose cuz that can be scary for me uno. But i figured as long as i've been taking it its well in my system and would take a few days of not taking it for it to really start spiking up.

Gimli, trust me, we have all done it at one time or another. I try to take mine at a certain time each day, yet if I get distracted will wonder, did I, or didn't I???? I know one day I finally counted them about 4 p.m. and knew I forgot to take one, but just waited till the next morning, no problem. As long as your numbers are 126/73, I'm sure U will be just fine. I don't think they come out of your system that fast, so relax and enjoy your evening......:wave:

It should stay in your system so you should be fine. I take Benicar also and there was a time I went off it and my bp stayed pretty low for several days without it. Don't worry about it, that will make your bp go up. :)

That's my system too:
If I am not sure I took something, I always assume I DID. I think more problems generally occur from too MUCH medicine rather than too little.
