Lately on and off I have been producing too much saliva and it makes me nautious. I could just keep on spitting. I'm not drooling or anything, the only thing that seems to help is brushing my teeth or using mouthwash or chewing gum. I recently went in for a mild, painful swollen cheek (by my ear) and the doc said it is parotitis. infected salivary gland, usually caused by staph, Any help?

I have too much saliva too. Had all my life----my dentist gets frustrated because sometimes it gets to be too much for his equipment to work properly.
Better too much than not enough tho......
