I cannot sleep without prescription sleep medications, Halcion or Ambien, and I awaken 2-3 hrs. later. Another pill will allow 2-3 more hrs. of sleep, and something is taken for more sleep. Sleep apena is treated with Bipap and restless legs by Requip. Rebif is my MS medication. Last night a Lunesta was used after the Halcion. My age is 66, 6 ft. 185 lb. and was first diagnosed with MS in 1965. I have difficulties walking and use a cane or brace. The sleep medications may affect my walking.

I don't have any suggestions but I do have sympathy and lots of it. I've had the same problem for 5 years now but Meds don't work for me. All the sleep aids are like drinking water. Good luck.
