I was perfectly fine most of yesterday and then at about 9pm last night my throat started feeling "runny" and yuck, like stuff (liquid, mucous, etc) was constantly running down it. :(

So I went to bed and I was so cold and shaky and vague and shivering in bed, even though I was sort of hot. So I thought I must have a fever and then got up to take my temperature, but...nope. I have a digital thermometer and it was completely normal...even very slightly LOW!

How is this? Like...how can you be shivering with goosebumps and then seconds later be burning up and sweating, and NOT have a temperature!?

Do you know your normal temp? Maybe normal for you is low, and the "norm" is actually high for you.

I have actually been going thru something similar the last few days. I feel cold and crappy, so I take Tylenol. In an hour or 2 I am feeling very warm but better, so that says to me I had a fever, but the thermometer never has been over 99. I think my normal is around 97 though, so I probably do have a little fever.

Did you try taking Tylenol? I swear by it when I'm sick! Good luck!
