A lot of times I will lay down to go to sleep and all of a sudden my feet (around the toes and ankles) start to ache. But it's odd, it is not a painful ache just a very annoying almost restless feeling. No tingle, no numbness, no pain, it's almost like an itch except for having to move my feet around instead of itching. If I squeeze my toes together and tuck them under my big toe like making a fist they all crack like one would crack their knuckles, and this for some reason very temporarily releases the urge. Same with my ankle except I roll it in the air and it cracks. Another thing that helps is laying on my belly and rocking my feet back in forth on the edge of the bed. And of course getting up and walking around relieves it. But as soon as I lay down to go to sleep again it comes back. It has kept me up so many nights, any suggestions? Any one even know what this is?
