Im really hoping someone can help me with this! Ok so my skin is overall pretty well with the exception of what might seem to be nothing, but to me is. I have bright and when I say bright I mean BRIGHT rosy red cheeks but they aren't natural blush looking cheeks. They can be pretty with a lot of foundation but that isn't nice looking, and they are red all over from my chin line to right below my eyes, and it almost seems like it's inflammation, but im not completely sure. I've gotten some tips and one was to wear normal foundation then add a very light/pale base to just my cheeks then add all over bronzer, and it kind of helps but not the way I wish it would.
any tips?
thanks.

It sounds like you might have entered 2nd or 3rd stage Rosacea. Do you get acne, that doesn't seem like normal acne? Do some of them become deep cystic blemishes? Do you flush and it lasts for hours sometimes? Dose your face feel warm when this happens? Do hot drinks, cold weather, hot days, the sun, alcohol or spicy foods trigger the inflammation? Or is it like that all the time? You really should see a doctor to be sure, but please don't use the conventional treatments like antibotics and metrogel, on it, as they often only make matters much worse. If you do indeed, have rocacea, I'd be happy to tell you what I've done to get mine under control and direct you to some excellent resources to help. The most important thing you need to know is there are better options then just covering it up. In fact, some things you use to cover it could be making it worse.

yeah I agree roseacrea is also what I was thinking.
Try cutting out spicey foods aswell as caffine.
Or another cause may be sensitive skin, being irritated by certain perfumed facials products etc.

And other inflammatory foods. Namely sugar. And dairy is a problem for some. There are more, but I'm not positive about them--Grains? Gluten? transfats?
Omega 3 fats are anti-imflammatory so eating Salmon and/or taking supplements is good.
And Aloe Vera gel is what I use for flare ups. There are drug store topicals for rosecea now too. I've seen them in the first aid aisle, I think. And of course, prescription.

Don't wash your face in the shower or sink.
Try using Cetaphil cleanser and use distilled water to wash your
face for a week.
You can buy distilled water at a drugstore for 1 to 2 dollars
a gallon.

You should see a doctor (dermatologist or family doctor) so they
can rule out rosacea and a virus (it's a mild virus) as possible causes.
If you live in Arizona, always wear a sunscreen for sensitive skin.
One that has zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
Good luck.
