Hey all,

I suffer from hemroids IBS and OCD involving personally cleanlyness. I have changed my diet drastically. My symptoms of IBS are near gone. I eat alot of fiber through grains and leafy vegetabels (mostly lettuce). I get close to my 100% fiber daily without pills. I still have very messy bowels, as far as wiping is concerned. Is there anythning I can do make my bowels easier for personal clean up? Kinda odd, but i would appreciate any suggestions. I have a lot of pain and bleeding. Not to mention anxiety. I have been to the dr. multipul times about the blood. but never asked this question before.

Thanks.

THere is basically 2 types of fiber -- Insoluble and soluble types . A combination of both are needed to have a formed stool.

Insoluble fiber causes intestinal muscle contractions that move digested food along your intestines -- Too much will produce a looser stool. Soluble fiber absorbs fluid and bulks up as well as slows down your stool -- making it firmer.
A right combination of both fibers-- results in a BM that only requires 2 or 3 wipes.

I wish you well---Harry
