Three years ago, I had a severe attach to which left me with slurred speech, servere headache and very anxious. My daughter rushed me to the er and 24 hours later I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclorsis. December of 2006, I had an appointment with MS center at OSU Hospital in Columbus, OH. After about three hours of test and I was told to stop all my MS medication, because I did not have MS. I was told I have a stroke disorder and my file was passed to a stroke doctor. I am currently waiting to hear back. Has anyone been told they had MS and they later found out it was stroke related. I have many question regarding strokes, causes and how you know you are having one. Is headaches associate with stokes? Please help:

I'm sorry about that.

Sometimes a CT will not show a stroke but a MRI can.

What did they do to you in the ER?

I had a car accident and they only did a CT on me until I went paralyzed. They did a CT and found blood in my brain. They sent me to a neurosurgeon and he did a MRI and MRA. That's when it showed I had a stroke.

Good Luck
