So pumped to be able to shower like a normal person again!!! The Doctor removed my stitches on friday. I now just have steri-strips over my incision he said it will help to make the scar smaller. He said that I didn't have to wear anything else over it but it was rubbing on my boot so I wrapped it in some gauze. Now I just really want to wear normal shoes and show off my cute foot!!

Congrats! It's the best feeling to be able to shower, normally, again, right? :) How are you doing other then that? Are you starting to walk? Update us, please!

I think the first normal shower I took was the longest of my life! lots of dead skin on my foot. I can walk almost normal with my boot on, no so much when it is off. My foot swells alot at night when I have been on it alot during the day and causes pain at night, nothing some pain meds. ice and elevation can;t cure. I still can't bend my toe too much so no normal shoes yet. I do exercises everyday to help get the flexibility back. My doctor said I was healing ahead of schedule which is awesome. I can't wait to get rid of my spaceboot!! Next doctor appointment on the 19th. I'll keep you posted!!
