My son is having constant nose bleeds. Sometimes they are so bad it seems as if someone turned on a tap. I know of another father talking about his autistic son having heavy nosebleeds. Is this common in autistics kids? My GP says they decrease as the child gets older but my sons been having them for 4 years now. Anyone had any similar problem?

I am not Autistic, but when I first moved to this area I live in now, my brother and I both were like that. The dry heat, air conditioning and very high pollen were the reasons and a Humidifier worked.

My 7 year old was dagnosed with aspergers and had the worst nosebleeds that seem to come more than they are not here. I had him on a gluten free diet since september and he had not one nose bleed. Because of testing he is having today I introduced gluten a week and a half ago and two days ago the nosebleeds started again. I don't know if there is a link between two or not but it is my observation.

You never know what is going on in our bodies. :dizzy:
