Ok first of all i'm a smoker.I brush and floss twice a day.But i just added the flossing in my daily routine about a month ago. I've noticed that if I apply pressure to some of my teeth with mt tongue it feels like it's about to just come out..and it starts bleeding...it does this everyday..My teeth are only alittle yellow(from the smoking)..I dont get it why is this happening?

first of all....you are flossing more than you need to. You only need to floss once in a 24 hour period. I'ts possible you have some gum recession so if I were you I would see a dentist and have him/her evaluate your gums. If you are causing bleeding when you push on your teeth with your tongue you may have some bone loss. Don't panic....these are situations that can be treated.

I would think that a Peridontist would be the proper dentist to check out this problem. I go to one every three months and my teeth and gums have greatly improved with this type of checking and cleaning compared to my regular hygentist. Also I use a fairly expensive mouth wash that has helped my gums called Cloysis II.

I am fairly new to this board and after posting I realized I mentioned the name of a product I use and I'm not sure this is permissable. I tried to delete the post, but it didn't go away. If I did wrong I apologize for my error.
Is it okay to list the name of a product that has done us some good and may help others?
