I am 22 years old just gave birth to my beautiful baby boy 4 months ago. At 5'4" @ 117lbs over the length of my pregnancy as I gained weight and my baby grew,0 I began to get stretch marks after the 7th month 1 turned into the entire bottom half of my tummy getting these elongated ugly stretch marks. They look like old wrinkley skin. ugh. I have tried a few creams does ANYONE know anything that actually works, that can tell an immediate difference????
I am so glad I never listen to my mom about not wearing my string bikini's as a teenager and into my 20's b/c those skimpy days are so over and I am sooo mad but I enjoyed it while I could. I know, I know its a part of motherhood and is a blessing, but I feel too young to not be able to where a freakin' bikini along with the rest of my girlfriends.:dizzy:
PLEASE HELP ME!!

Congratulations on your new baby boy! You can try using Silkia Camillia Oil. It's supposed to heal and fade stretch marks. Stretch marks fade, but unfortunately they're there for life. I would give it a try, you can look it up online. I use it on my face, and it really keeps it soft and smooth. Good Luck! :)

If you have some bucks to spend, then do what Britney Spears did recently:
"On her way to the night club Hyde recently, The “Oops, I Did It Again” stopped by Petit Tresor and spent more than $400 on Mustela creams, which are used to fade post-natal stretch marks, according to a source."

There is very little that can be done to get rid of stretch marks totally. However, when the marks are still red they can be treated succesfully to greatly lessen their appearance. Go to a dermatologist as soon as possible and see what (s)he suggests. There are lasers that work well but only on fresh stretch marks. Also, I believe there are Vitamin A creams that do a very nice job. But do it as soon as you can, before the marks start fading to the silvery white. And don't stress out over this. There are things that are being developed all the time in dermatology and I am sure that within a few years they will find great new methods for treating this stuff and you will still be young and can then wear anything you want. You can wear it now too, by the way. You seem to be in great shape, so forget the marks over a very small part of your skin (make the rest of your skin silky and smooth) and show off your womanly body! In the meantime, enjoy motherhood. It is a wonderful thing watching your baby grow. Take the joy of it, relax about the less wonderful parts and simply enjoy being young and healthy.
