View Full Version : Low BP reading question

I've noticed lately that a lot of my BP readings are on the low side -- 100 - 115 / 60 - 75. When I check my BP using store machines, it usually results in a more "normal" reading. I'm wondering why I am getting such low readings using my home monitor? Is it normal to have readings that low?

You may need to take your own monitor with you to the doctor's and check it against their's. I'm not sure how reliable the ones in the stores are.

What type monitor do you have at home?

I have an automatic type of monitor that I am using to track my BP. I hope that it isn't the monitor that is the problem. I'm just trying to figure out why my bp readings are so low, because it used to be more closer to the normal range with occassional higher numbers.
