I am a twenty year old college student. I have had approx one grand mal since I was 15 months old. I have been seizure free for four years and am now on lamactil. In the last year I have had a few "dissociative" episodes, always when stressed out. I saw a psychotherapist today and he told me the only way to treat anxiety/stress is with medication - he suggested paxil. I am so scared to try SSRI's because I do not want to lose my drivers license!!! Any thoughts? Or has anyone tried anything natural that may be safer? And has anyone tried bio feedback for anxiety? THANK-YOU!!!!!!

I know paxil is an SSRI but I am afraid it will lower my threshold - anyone know the percentages of epileptics having seizures begin again when starting paxil?

I've heard zoloft is good for this and have had good experience with it.
