When I first applied for SS they rejected me because of my age, and said I could go back to office work. Yeah right, sitting for long time kills me. Sometimes I can't even drive. I wonder how hard it is to get this with my age and condition?

Your best bet would be to discuss your options w/an attorney. One who deals with ONLY Social Security Disability claims & NOTHING ELSE.

The initial consultation is *free*. You have nothing to lose.

Good luck!

That is what I have done, I hired them as soon as i got the rejection letter. Now its waiting, the only medical insurance that I have is the state medicaid, which is close to having none as far as choice of doctors. If i were to get ss, then medicare my options would open up. This is whats scary.
