Ia m getting his blood tested Monday and have an appt with a neuro in two weeks. Today I get his eyes checked. Is there anything I have left out?

It sounds like migraines. My dd was treated for migraint variant disorder before she was dx with epilepsy. Our neuro recommended having her drink a full 8 ounces of a sports drink (like Gatorade) and take motrin as soon as the symptoms began. It didn't work for her since it turned out to be seizures not migraines, but there wouldn't be any harm in trying this with your son until you can get into the neuro.

p.s. my dd did not have headaches, so don't panic about your son having epilepsy.

Good luck

my ten year old gets headaches frequently. i'm afraid she inherited the condition from me. it's good he's having some tests done and after that i know there are preventatives they can use on kids if they are really bad. most likely, it's just migraines.
